Clean roadwayIt’s not all gardening, this October we were most pleased to win a new contract for roadsweeping to a residential estate in Battersea, London. This consists of monthly sweeping to the paths and roadways of the large estate using a mixture of mechancial sweepers, vacuums and hand tools.

Initially the first visit also involved scraping any build ups of old dirt collected in kerb edges Clear roadway edges after road sweepingas well as the usual road sweeping and cleaning. The following visits in November and December will require leaf collection which will be achieved with leaf blowers, walk behind vacuums and hand collection, this will collect the bulk of the leaves with the last of them being collected by the visit in January to leave the site leaf free until the next Autumn.

We are expecting a continual improvement Clear roadway after road sweepingover the coming months with each visit enabling us to concentrate on more detail and small areas of dirt and we are very confident to achieve the very high standards required of us from the residents and management in a short amount of time.

To the right is a picture of one of the machines we use regularly for exterior Karcher Road Sweeper and Operativecleaning and sweeping, it is a Karcher petrol driven sweeper and vacuum, incorporating a full width spinning brush underneath which collects rubbish , debris and loose gravel and a spinning side brush for sweeping and collecting rubbish and debris from kerb and wall edges. Other machines we use are petrol driven walk behind vacuums which collect loose litter and leaves, petrol driven blowers to blow rubbish and debris from inaccesible areas and good old brooms and shovels.

Using a mixture of this equipment we can provide efficient cost effective exterior cleaning and road sweeping to a high standard and we are sure this new contract will continue to run into the future and we can build a good working relationship with a new client.
